I Heart Target!!

If you knew my hubbie you would know that he is a huge hunter.  Well last night he wanted to go to Sportman's Warehouse.  I told him that I  would run over to Target and check to see if they had anything on clearance that I would like to get.  I told him that I was more just pricing then anything.

I just found out this last week that it is about 95% sure that I will be having a baby girl!  Which we are so excited.... but I have very little girl stuff since I have a little boy.  So was looking around at all the cute girl stuff and just saw the dollar signs.  I was getting a little overwhelmed.

Then I found an area that had some clearance items.  Needless to say, I could have spent about $60.  But that was not in the budget.  So instead I only spent $34.  This is what I was about to get!

This would be a crib set which includes a  crib comforter, bumper,and crib  sheet.  Now the night I found out I was having a girl, I looked on line for crib sets.  The one that I fell in love with was about $175.  Well this one was ....$12.49.  Yep, you read that right.  The Pj's there were only $1.74. 

Then I found some clothes.  I was so excited because they were so inexpensive!  I could have bought so much more, but I restrained myself.  Here is what I got for under $9.  I feel in love with that onesie.

  Then I found a couple of random things.  I got 2 packages of  safety plug protectors for $0.83 each. Which is great because my son just decided it was cool to play with plugs. I also got two sippy cups for $1.72!  I was so excited!

  So at this moment I love Target.  Now my hubbie on the other hand, he just laughed and said, " I thought you were just checking prices."  Well..... I guess I shouldn't price check. 

Had a bad day, so I went shopping.

Yesterday was kinda a bad day, but it was a fablous day for shopping at the Di!  I could have easily spent over $50.  But I restrained myself.  However, I bought tons of really fun stuff.  I am so super exited!  I have allready decorated with some of it.  I will have to show you pictures later.

I couldn't believe when I found this.  It was marked $3.00.  Wahooo!!  You will please jump into my cart!!!

Then I found this great basket. This was only $1.50.

Then there is this awesome magnet board.  I am going to put this in son's room and then get some alphabet magnets for it.  He will love it.

I have been looking for mirrors and this is actually a tray.  I am going to be making it into a hanging mirror.  I also want to spray it white.

Then I found these for just $3.00.  I really like the paper on them, but it is kinda torn and our bathroom is not pink.  I am going to spray paint them brown. 

I have been decorating our bathroom and wanted some cute containers to put my stuff in.  I did a little girl squeal when I found these.

 I found another one, but it was shaped like a bell, I don't think that is what I am looking for.  I got a chuckle.

I saved the best for last.  I saw this and I feel in love.  I normally don't like chickens, but this one I had to have.

It is actually a bank, but I will be using it in our kitchen when we move.  Till then I will have to find somewhere to have it!

Ikea!

I know that I don't need to say more?  I have never been there.  So this last weekend my hubbie and I went with my little one and my parents down to Lehi.  I need a break and so we went down there and spent the night.   My mom and I went to Ikea why the boy went to Cabela's.  It was so much fun.

I was so excited to go and then I walked in there!  Oh my goodness.  I was so overwhelmed.  But I loved every second of it.  I was looking for an addition to my craft room that I wanted to work on today.  Instead I am sick and I have a wonderful sister in law that has taken my son so that I can just relax.  Thanks Suzie!!!!  I found where they were suppose to be.  They there, then look in another place, GONE!!!  I was so sad.  Then my sweet mom found them in another place.  I was so excited, I think I yelled, "Hurray."  This is what I bought!

I am making a magnet board and I am going to organize all my small craft items like buttons and paper clips.  I am SO stoked!  My hubbie thinks that I have an addiction.  He was surprised that I didn't buy much.  But when we moved out of his mom's house and we get our own.  That store will be where I spend most of his checks!  Until then I will have to get love the few things that I did get and the prices are amazing!

I also got a funnel that is lime green and I love!  For only $0.99.

I also a bead counter for the little one!  I was to excited and that fact that it was $7.99 is even better!  I was so excited to bring this home so that he could play with it! 

My mom feel in love with this a kitchen there and I love this play room white board.  I think that I will do in The next house.

Then there was this!  I would love to have something like this for our TV! I LUV our TV cabinet.  But this is so amazing.

I hope to go again soon.  But I need to have a mission this time.  I need to have a purpose, otherwise I just wander.  If you have one close, go and enjoy!

Have You Ever?

Have you ever felt the feeling of standing in a room that you have been cleaning for days and it is almost there?  I felt that feeling last night.  I was in "one of those moods," you know the one where you feel as though you just drank a 64 oz of Dr. Pepper and you can't sleep.  I have been so stressed that I haven't had any desire to unpack our front room.  Well last night was a great night and I got tons done!  I can't wait till I can decorate my house so that I can show you all.  

I have so many fun craft ideas that I am so excited to share.  I also have found four websites that you have can print pictures off and all you have to do is pay shipping.  For 25 pictures you can go to Snapfish and York.  Then for 50 you can go to Fuji and Kodak.  You just have to sign up for an account. I have done this and shipping is like $1.99.  So it is really reasonable.  

Walgreen Deals!

I know that my last post was about using coupons, but I need to tell you about what I was able to buy today.  I went to Walgreen's and used my coupons that I got when I bought Greg's shower gel on Monday.  When I was pregnant with my little boy I got this weird rash on my legs.  Well I couldn't really do anything because I was prego.  Then it magically went away.  Well ever since I have had really sensitive skin. Which means that I have had to change my laundry detergent.  Which is weird because I have used Tide my whole life.  Well I changed to Purex and it has worked amazing.  Which I love because it goes on sale for really cheap and they usually have coupons to make it cheaper!  Wahoo!

Long story just to tell you that I purchased 6 Purex 32 loads for $2.32.

Crazy I know.  This is how I was able to do it.  When I went on Monday I bought 2 of the Old Spice Body wash and there was a print out for $4.50 (which is was they cost).

Well I had a coupon buy one get one free, I got two free. Then today I bought a Gillette shave gel and I had a coupon to get one free.  I also recieved another $4.50 print out.  Then I used the three $4.50 coupons and the Purex was on sale for $2.95.

Tuesday Tell All Couponing #2

It is Tuesday Tell All again!  I am really excited about today's topic. I was thinking yesterday about what I wanted to talk about, and I was couponing.  Which I try to do as much as I can.   I read awhile back that for every hour you coupon correctly you can save about $100.  Which I thought was quite the pay off.  So I started doing more couponing.

I use two different sites alot.  The first is Freebies 2 Deals.com and the other is Pinching Your Pennies.com
Freebies 2 Deals is great from Online deals and target deals.  She only posts the best deals. Which is what I like about Pinching You Pennies.  They post all of the deal in the add.  The main things is find a site that works for you!

I have to tell you about my shopping trip yesterday.  I started my journey at Walgreens.  They have Old Spice Body Wash on sell for $4.49 which I thought that it was a terrible price.  Till I saw that you got $4.49 store credit.  Which means that it is free!  Then I had a coupon that was buy one get one free.  I got 2 for the price of one and I got the store credit.  Well I had two of coupons so got 4 for $8.98 and $8.98 of instore credit.  I also purchase 2 packs of gum for $1.  Which is awesome! You do have to do them in separate transactions.

Then we were off to Smith's, where they were having their double coupons days!  Wahoo!  Any coupon under a dollar would change up to $1.  This are the things that I got:

Which if I bought it not on sell with coupons it would have been $36.06 before taxes.  I bought it for a grand total for $10.18 with tax!  I know crazy!

It get better, one of the reasons I bought the Band- Aids other then it was an awesome deal.  Was I bougth Princess and The Frog for a screaming deal at $8.95 when it first came out.  But Band-Aid has a rebate if you bought both the movie and two boxes of Band-Aids.  So I will get $5.00 back! Wahoo.
